ABOUT OUR COLLEGE:

Our  Collge is    CH.S.D. ST. THERESA'S COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, Eluru is very popular in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 1953. It is affiliated with Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry. It is one of the leading colleges in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business Finance and Commerce, Communications and Journalism, Computer Science, Design, Engineering, Management Studies, Science and Mathematics, and Vocational Studies. It is located in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. It is governed by AICTE. More than 21 courses are taught in this institution.

Under the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, there are a total of 4 courses. For Under Graduate studies, B.A. is the only course taught. Under the Post Graduate studies, 3 courses are taught which are M.A. (English), M.A. (Economics), and M.A. (Telugu

Under the ness Finance and Commerce, there are a total of 4 courses. The Under Graduate category has 4 courses which are: BBA, B.Com. (Computer) and B.Com. (Finance).

Under Locations and Journalism, 1 course is available. For Under Graduate studies, B.A. (Mass Communication) is the only course taught.

Under Comp Science, 1 course is available. For Post Graduate studies, MCA is the only course taught.

Under the Design, 1 course is available. For Under Graduate Diploma studies, Dip. (Fashion Design) is the only course taught

 For Under Graduate Diploma studies, Diploma  (IT) and Diploma In FD   are the courses taught.

Under the management Studies, there are a total of 3 courses. For Under Graduate studies, BBA and BBA (Logistics) are available for enrolment. For Post Graduate studies, MBA is the course available.

Under Science and mathematics, there are a total of 6 courses. For Under Graduate studies, B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Home Science) are available for enrolment. Under the Post Graduate studies, 4 courses are taught which are M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry), M.Sc. (Clinical Nutrition), and M.Sc. (Physics). Under Vocational Studies, 1 course is available. For Under Graduate studies, B.Vocational is the available course here.

Our college was established with the motto "From Darkness to light". Here we have many facilities to study like Physics, chemistry, Botany and Zoology laboratories and five computer laboratories all around the campus. Our college has a vast library with more than 1,10,000 books which are Computerized. We have a Big Play Ground and also A Gym. We have extracurricular activities such as NCC, NSS, and Sports. 

Here The Faculty believe in all-over growth than just studying. They teach us very well and interact with us in a good way. All of our teachers are very patient and always support us in participating in various activities.  They help us to become independent, and confident and have the strength to help others. Also in our college, many types of events are held in which we can happily participate and enjoy. Our college treats us not just as students but as a family.

Our college is a college that has the potential to make a difference in society by making the students good citizens with responsibility. It is started for women's empowerment and women are the most important part of society as they are the backbone of a family. Educating and empowering women means educating the society and people in it. it will be an immense help in the changing of the  society.
